Dubai, UAE, January 28, 2025, – Dubai Health has partnered with OBIX® to introduce a transformative perinatal data system within its electronic health record (EHR) platform, EPIC Salama. This leading technology integration marks a significant step in advancing maternal and newborn care, reducing risks during childbirth, and prioritizing the safety of mothers and babies.
The new system is being implemented across Latifa Hospital, Dubai Hospital, Hatta Hospital, and Dubai Health’s ambulatory health centers. OBIX® is already in use at 60% of leading hospitals in the United States, where it supported the safe delivery of over 1.4 million babies in 2023. The integration will empower Dubai Health’s clinicians with near real-time, data-driven insights, improving patient outcomes by supporting continuity of care across all stages.
This initiative aligns with Dubai Health’s mission to embrace advanced digital solutions to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality for patients. The integration of the OBIX® system ensures seamless access to mother and baby data – whether at the bedside, nurses’ stations, or remote offices – enhancing communication and supporting clinics at every step of care.
